I'm thinking of going to Jay Peak sometime this weekend, and I was just wondering if anyone has some info on how skiing is there. I'm wondering if i should take my AR6 (center mount) or my Fujis (core center).

How's the park, I checked the site and the pictures are crap? Is there any pow( i'm probably gonna go early in the morning)?

jay peak blows hard. dont go there. go to killington or something. better yet head to mt snow. their park is awesome this year

i heard that al of vermont hasnt recovered from the rain around xmas and is suffering horribly. im gonna stick to nh for sure. i heard SR is so ill it hurts

really the park isnt that great and it is fucking freezing up there. They only have one rail set up right now.

Is everyone here joking? I heard jay is the sickest mountain in Vermont if you don't want to ride park. I've never been to Vermont but if Jay gets pow, I hear it's amazing.

don't mean to ruin there fun, but use some sense and check their website. The truth will reveal itself there(and I think you will like it!)

jay is the sickest mtn in VT if you dont want to ride park. Best woods, most snow. Over 200" this year and still counting. Just had the most ridiculous pow day today. Everyone else on this threat must be joking or just be park rats.

for a pow fsy i would go to killington , no other place in vt is sick as that place with fresh powder

Pf, he's obviously never been to Jay. It sucks there, they've had under 6 inches of snow this year. All mud.

well it was really awesome, till it rained a ton. and its freezing tonight and tomorrow. like 0 degrees. and then next week going to like 50. its redic. snows basically gone. barespots coming up everywhere. try going east of there. they didnt get hit so hard. i heard sundayriver is doin really well

Damn i wasn't expecting all these bad reviews of jay. I went on their websites and they just got 14 inches in the last 48 hours. And Jay is already far for me so going any further is just a hassle.

i really dont know what u r talking about. i heard that sunday river is in WORSE condition than jay peak, and thats sayin something.

I went to jay peak last year and rode in waist deep pow in the woods all day. It's true they dont have much of a park but with miles of glades who wants to hit terrain features anyway. they got over 200 inches i dont know why the other guy said they have "one inch" of snow...

Jay peak is the shit, they get the most snow on the east!

yeah no park but so fucking what, yes this is NS'ers but im sick of people judging skiing on park and how good people are at tricks, there are other dimensions of skiing besides launching ur slef in the air or ruining your skiis on a metal rail

i'm leaving monday for jay peak and skiing tues and wed. should be fucking illlllllllllllllllllllllll. first time goer

There is no park currently (besides 5 boxes/rails and a few small rolling tables) so if thats your thing there are probably better places

Jay is crap. Don't go. It's a waste of money. Tell your friends you heard on NS it's crap. Continue spreading this "fact" for years to come to everyone you come into contact with...

Okay, I'll get in on the fun!! JAY PEAK BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea why I drive like 8 hours all the time to get there because there is never any snow and the "hill" sucks. Don't ever go!

um not really. Last week was the most people i had ever seen at jay. Long ass lines on every lift. Had to wait like 4 trams the 1 time i was retarded enough to ride the tram. word has gotten out.

oh yeah dont bother with VT. go to Ma. Nashoba has more snow then evryone and blue hills is much bigger then killy. MA. skiing is legit

i havent heard anything about jays park....powder is another story.....jay gets more snow than anywhere in the east and can compete with a lot of places out west...

You guys are seriously so fucking corny. You should be open to more newschoolers like yourselves to come to jay. Theres plenty of snow to go around. I'm going up this week and its supposed to be 50 degrees and rainy but so what, I will still have the time of my life. P.S... to all of you fucking Canadians saying that I should stay out of jay, that it has no snow, or whatever other sarcastic fucking retarded comment you want to make... how bout you go to Tremblant and leave some of the Pow Pow to us Americans where the mountain is located in... thanks have a nice day.

You just don't get it either.

If you want thousands of twin-tip gapers clogging the lift lines at Jay, keep preaching.
