Jay Peak Trip

Been planning a ski trip up to Jay Peak in Vermont in late Jan for a few months now. I booked us a nice 10 person ski in ski out condo. Everyone was real stoked on going in October, but now all the flakes are coming out. Only one person has taken off work and confirmed they are going.. Nobody else wants to give me a straight answer. wtf is wrong with people? how can you not be frothing at the mouth to ski!?

From my experience big group trips can always be hard. People will always be flake out sadly. Big reason I stick to smaller trips now.

Bummer yo, that's gotta suck. Hope you get more people to join you on your trip!

im also going to Jay Peak with a group of friends. I've never been, could someone who is a local PM me with some good spots to hit or trails to check out? I wanna hit some big cliffs and shred some glades

If you booked before getting confirmation from everybody that was a dumb idea.

You get a confirmed number early, book the place, then immediately collect the money. If more people want to come they are welcome to and their money refunds everybody the cost difference, but the of folks get priority sleeping arrangements.

Really not that tough of a concept.

Endless Glades everywhere. Head to the flanks like beaver pond and Timbuktu. Ski the face chutes . Pretty much everything can be sick if there's a lot of snow.
