Jay Peak open tomorrow?

I was looking around on their website and read.

"Our projected opening date is Friday, Novemeber 27th. Unless Mother Nature forces our hand a little earlier. Good chance of it - stay tuned."

But I haven't seen any more updates about whether or not they will. I mean im assuming its a no, but maybe its cold up their and they've been blowing?

Sorry to say, we won't be opening this weekend. Snow is going to hit Friday ushering in an active December pattern, stay tuned for details.

on weather.com it said it would be snowing saturday but didnt say how much. i wanna hike sunday if they do get some snow.

Then, noaa.gov (aka weather.gov). Everyone else that forecasts for Jay earns $$$ by saying Jay will get dumped on.

Commonwealth, thanks for the info. I've never heard of that blog.
JAWFlyer3, they're using all NOAA maps. NOAA's great because their predictions are minimums. When I they predict 3-5" at Jay, it means 5-8". FIS is nice because LionelHutz predicts weather out of a legitimate interest (and the ego boost from 100 TGR guys asking him where they should go ).
Roger Hill predicts weather to keep his job at Jay. I'm sure he's a very nice guy, but the crap Jay spews gets under my skin.

I just got done with skiing MRG today. Catamount had some really good snow, but it got kinda crusty around Lower Canyon. There are a bunch of pretty big trees down because of the wind. A lot of the snow was wind blown, but it skied pretty nicely.
