umm..well they have some decent snow...this year hasnt been as good as pasts...if ur gonna go to jay peak, ur going to the terrain and challenge and not the park..they have a few decent hits and few rales..but the glades are sick especially on a good snow day

Yeah im heading up to Jay in mid February, prolly going on some backcountry guide thing. I've never been there and I'll be skiing solo, so I figured that would be the best way to find the good spots. Anyone know anything about this thing? It's on the Jay website, pretty vague though

All the snow got blown off into Canada, it sucks. You would best off staying in New York.

There is no lift, so:

A) Find the fuck out where you are going from a local. You don't want to spend all day (and night) lost in the woods

B) Ski down to the road

C) Hitch hike / grap a ride from friends back to the base

If your coming up here for park go to sugarbush line and sivercartel have done amazing things to that park this year, if you're lookin for glades jaypeak is where its at, they're all good. Howver i would like to say that smuggs just got an amazing C box and a decent S box

its only mid-term week for me but some kids have some regents(healt, spanish make-up)....i might get up there one day

It would take hours to hike back up big jay. It would be faster to just ski all the way down and get a ride back which takes 2 minutes.
