Last year was a good season. On the north Island (Hokkaido) the base was great for opening weekend in mid nov. The main island was a bit late but January went off the hook and it went great into march but spring heated up fast and we had a week late april and early may as the base sloughed off. The year before was a warm, dry season but the previous 2 were off the hook good. Two years ago it was record snow with 8m of settled base at many resorts. This year, autumn is already colder than normal.
