Japanese park ski scene:

Wow, we were saying in a thread not long ago we need more creativity in skiing and jibbing in particular, the japs beat us to it.

its wierd how more cross contact between U.S. and japanese freeskiing scenes isn't promoted on this site considering their movies are progressing really quickly. Maybe NS should set up an interview with some skiers from over there.

That was so sick, butter 270 on was nice, I haven't thought of that. Tree tap was sick! Urban in Japan would be unreal, too bad this movie is $40 + shipping.
 
japanese skiers are so sick...so many guys over there we've never heard of that put to shame a lot of well known north american and european riders (in my opinion at least). last year I was friends with a bunch of japenese exchange students who came here (UBC) for a year, they showed me some of their japanese videos (they were Volume-style edit/documentary things), soo unbelieveable.

SICK!!! cant wait to go to Japan this Friday, and ski Niseko by sat.. i wanna see how they run things over there, should be awesome. and the food... haha best part!

On a side note I am going to be skiing there in t-minus one week. I am def. going to buy a few DVDs over there. I posted some links awhile back with some Japanese skiers just killing it. When I find them I will post them up on this thread.
Send me some money and I might buy you a DVD, haha.

who wants to explain to me where these guys are copin their steeze from- its fresh as fuck but where are the jap pros at- im lookin for some far east rep.

if i was japanese and couldnt read english, small chance id know how to nose stall or shifty a box.
