japan vs Lui kang grab

hey this weekdn i was fuckin around with these and i was doing a japan, but with right hand in front of right leg to raised left instead of behind, are there hella different variations and they are all about the same, what's the differe3nce between the two and what did i do?

critical - bring left ski up and grab with right hand INFRONT of extended right leg (usually grabbed around the toe piece of the binging)

japan - bring left ski up and grab with right hand BEHIND of extended right leg (usually grabbed around the heal peice of the binding)

lui kang - bring left ski up and grab with left hand anywhere around the binding area with right leg extended(usually grabbed right under the boot). I think lui kangs look better if you bring both legs up and grab safety than kick the ungrabbed ski down for the lui kang - but it's all personal preferance.

a critical it when you cross your skis and grab under you boot...

a japan is when you kick out you right ski and grab your left ski with you right hand behind you legs..

a lui kang is when you grab your right ski with you right hand and kick out your left ski

we all say a japan is left leg up right leg extended and you grab in front of the extended leg

but a stale japan is the grab behind the extended leg???? What eva, its all the same shit, whateva you do. just make it look pirrrty!

if u put ur left leg up and grab with ur left arm that would be a flying fish in my book, A lui kang could be either left leg up grab right leg with right hand, or right leg up, grab left leg with left hand.

 
Lui Kang - Left leg up, right leg extended down, grab under boot with LEFT hand. (looks better if u do a safety first, then kick down leg)

Japan - Left leg up, right leg extended, grab under boot with right hand reaching BEHIND the leg

if you grab the opposite ski of whatever hand you are doing it is a japan, just a normal japan if you grab behind and a stalefish japan if you grab in front. PERIOD END OF DISCUSSION. well at least thats what i think and if we all agreed on it it would be much easier. besides im pretty sure im right. ok bye.

man! you guys cant get anything right.

basic japan: grab behind your left leg and grab the bottem of your right ski under your boot, tweak it however you'd like.

luikang: grab your right ski and kick your left leg out IN FRONT OF YOU. I dont know where you guys get off kicking your un-grabbed ski down, that is so fucking lame.

basic critical. grab the inside edge of your left ski with your right hand. tweak however you would like.

 
who made up this critical stuff cuz 2 years ago they were stailfishes and now all the sudden people are calling em criticals. where did this come from? it's just like toxic kinda annoying.

Who cares anymore anyway? I think we should just call whatever we want whatever we want... Promote your own style! I grab Japan behind, Joe down the street grabs his in front, your My mom grabs her crotch when she does hers! I think each rider should have his own style, and his own trick list, so if you ever see a 'chicken ollie goose fuck flip' you envision the guy who invented the name, and his style, as opposed to the so-called 'proper' way of doing a japan. This shit is SO played out! Call it what you want! Call ME what you want, just don't worry about conforming to what FIS would love to see you get hooked on! Keep the 'free' in freestyle! Names of tricks only come up when you're NOT skiing, so why do they matter SO much? Talk is so cheap... Don't tell me what tricks you can do, SHOW ME! Peace, N8

I think both of them look stylie when done huge. Just hit a kicker an throw one. It would look sick if u did both if them in the pipe. I have seen belanger do a toxic to japan which was sick

I want to confuse you some more though... and toss some more names in there.... a stale grab is like a japan.... behind the right leg, but tweaked like a mute... kinda... the right leg is tucked up too.

a japan is behind the right leg with the right leg extended.

a critical is in front of the right leg grabing the botom of the ski. the right leg is extended.

a huntony is in front of the rigth leg grabing the top of the ski... like a mute.

or just call them all what ever. Natedawg knows whats up.

Who cares As long as it looks good, Who realy cares what the Name of the trick is Sking is fun, YOu grab your ski's huck spin, Flip.... Doesn't what u wanna call it
