anyone done a month or two month trip around japan ? Looking to do it and wondering how much it has costed you etc.

im going in february, i have a friend who lives up there whos covering my food and stay so my budgets just like 1400$ for 15 days, id assume that if you were going and staying by yourself you would need like 3000$

Do it! I went to Hakuba last January and we're going back this year. Can't wait. Japan is sick, you'll have a blast. Round trip plane ticket LAX -> Tokyo is $900. Hostels are $25 per night. Lift tickets are $40 and come with an onsen pass and lunch. Also, you can buy single lift rides for $10 which are great from sidecountry access. Let me know if you have questions!
