Japan is struggling

I've been working in Hakuba since end of October and since then only one major snowfall that has been washed away by all the rain. Yesterday it was reported 50cm up top. Can't ski to the bottom of the resort, always must download. Is the season going to turn around? Or should I bail to another country now

europe is dealing with the same shit. big snowfall at the end of november and nothing but warm weather and a little rain since. snow forecast for start of 2016, we'll see i guess!

its still early season for japan, and Japan, of all places will get snow.

sounds like its your first season.

and sure, if you have money, flights, a visa and a job i would go to whistler. but you don't. so stop stressing and make the most of what you have.

We're doing all right up here in Hokkaido. Warm December but lots of snow for the rest of this week then Japanuary.

seen a few snapchats of japan, looks like a bit of snow is falling.

hoping for some snow in europe before i head out there in january, long range forecast is calling for some snow early january
