Japan Accomodation

Seeeeeeerrrrrrrrrpppppppppp

i am looking for cheap accom in niseko for around mid-early jan 2011 anyone stayed somewhere half decent for cheap? if you got any links i would really appreciate it.

chers all

Stayed at the black diamond lodge in niseko village last january. Chill place with a chill mexican restaurant/bar downstairs. And Clayton that runs the lodge is the man, he knows all the spots and will show you around

If you don't mind staying with a whole bunch of poms/kiwis/aussies then hit up Hirafu Backpackers. They're in the lower part of the village but like 5 seconds walk from a shuttle stop, super chill place, free breakfast, generally party pretty hard too.

30 euros per night is still kinda expensive if it requires a shuttle ride to the mountain, but with those discount prices and breakfast it could be worth it.

i stayed at the shizenkan hostel. it is in the east village, but the FREE bus shuttle takes only about 5 minutes to the mountain. (and if you want you can ski down to the door)

def check it out. good people over there

The shuttle is free, runs like every 15 minutes. Pretty sweet setup really. Just jump on and shout gondola-des or hatchi-ban and you're good to go.
Only a couple of minutes walk to the Seikomart which is pretty key as well. Onsen 1 street over... it's allllll good.

Everyone is hungry for Japanese powder after reading the Ski in Japan thread. Or at least I am, hungry for any snow really.

anyway my threads

Thanks all. sounds like some good places i'll scope them out. black diamond lodge where jp stayed in reasons? keep the suggestions coming for a good variety. sounds good with the free shuttle so i wouldnt be fased. i am just looking for the cheapest accom i can find for three weeks so yer. appreciate it all. if anyones in nis sorta mid jan hit me up for a ski. peace

i stayed at the bluebird pension, down the bottom of the hill at grand hirafu, place was really cool, cant remember how much it cost, but it was cheap, breakfast is included in the rate which was always really good food, (jap food so fish for breakfast if that puts you off) owners didn't speak a word of english but niseko ground crew are awesome and will sort you out.
have a blast dude the place is insane......i apologize in advance for anything the aussies say or do over there, we tend to get rowdy. the kiwis? well fuck no one can help them
