what th ehell do you mean janes addiction are awesome they have done a lot of different things to set them apart from the crowd. in my opinion they basically were the reason we now have the 'alternative' genre of music. true rockers and true pioneers

Yea... I really don't understand these guys at all. Everything I hear from them I can't even believe people enjoy it. I can see how they brought the scene away from the 70's and early 80's stuff to what we have now, but yea, something I could never ever listen to willingly.

 
Janes addiction overcame huge hurdles there career, and still manage to come out sober, with a banging tour under there belt and a slammin sound. other then there new cd though, kettle whistle would be a good buy

The music sounds so generic now, I really dont understand why the white stripes and janes addiction get mad reviews but 311 and other good bands get ripped to peices; example 'band x doesnt evolve their sound on this album' -generic review of a good band by rolling stone while other bands that are classically favored by critics like janes addiction get great reviews if their music changes to shit or stays the same. I cant understand music critics.

yeah, and, its just bad the way that the alternative radio stations still play the crap out of only two of their songs.
