besides your hypocritical closing gay comments, you make a good point. Let me take it a step further. Pierre was asking everyone, the crew and the viewers, to accept Jesus and his being nailed to a cross for "our sins" in case he died so he could see them in heaven. This implies he thought he was making the last run of the day. When you have people in your life and you put yourself in a situation like that, it is no longer religious faith you are calling on but a disconnect from reality. A kid, baby-momma, parents, friends. all these people who would be devastated that he died doing something to satisfy a need to be noticed. Pathetic. I ski for myself. I drop 20 30 footers cause I love it. I have gone bigger but it is rare. My wife is too important to me. My dogs are too important to me. I ski hard but am always aware of my mortality and make decisions based on that. That is what I feel Pierre is missing and am critical of. The use of religion to achieve it is a side note.
