I love craig as james bond. I believe he is the best adaptation of flemmings true desire for how James Bond should be. He's cool, calculated, confident, badass (bourne-esque), the voice, the charm, the sexuality and best of all he is not a pretty boy like brosnan
 
Fact. If you read the books, you see that Bond is more tactical, cunning and stealthy than what they show in the movies. Craig is the opposite of that. He fights with a much more "smashmouth" kind of style, which tends to draw a bigger audience for a movie.
 
Looks dope, Connery is clearly the best Bond ever. Followed by either Dalton or Brosnan. Daniel Craig is top 5 but not the best ever.

This is all just my opinion though.

I really don't understand how those are your qualities of a great Bond, yet Brosnan was a pretty boy to you?

I guess I can't really blame just Brosnan since a lot of his movies had shit scripting in them so he was forced to suffer through some bad films. I just never liked how it seemed like Brosnan was cut from the cheesy spy/action guy mold, I never really believed him as an actor because of that

Obviously different strokes for different folks but Brosnan just never did it for me - I've liked craig much more even though quantum of solace blew. He has the cruel and ruthless side of him that I enjoy as well as a cold confidence. Brosnan never had that cruelty or edge to him that seemed believable, he always seemed jaded to me just like he was ballin at some rich boy country club seducing women by the bus load. Brosnan was all about the quirky little gadgets and automatic weapons he was too soft and limp wristed to be the cold blooded spy that 007 is - craig is more "practical" in his ruthlessness and vengeance

It's easy for everyone to say connery because he was THE james bond and was the model for everyone to live up to. I think craig has done as well of a job fitting the james bond character and I personally enjoy him more
 
i liked brosnan as bond (not the best bond, keep your shirt on, but he was good) partially because of how he delivered all the classic bond puns

sean connery was definitely the best one, which i think is undeniable. daniel craig may fit the literary bond role better, but im not a fan of his stupid pouty face. brosnan was the bond i grew up with in movies and video games, and his obvious corniness might be why i liked him so much. they sorta made bond into a different role in those movies, as opposed to the new, gritty, edgier bond.

but connery had it down. he was the ultimate bond.
 
i thought it was exponentially better than the 7-second car chase and 1.5 hour long poker game that was Casino Royale
 
you didnt like the part with him getting smashed in the balls???

The poker game was a little drawn out but gambling is a large continuation in the Bond series as it was a large part of who flemming was

The parkour scene in the beginning of casino royale was also badass
 
they do it differently, so w.e

Connery is badass in his classiness and w.e qualities he has that i cant put a name to. Craig has his own class, and has far greater parkour skill
 
Daniel Craig is an amazing actor. Hands down one of my favorite, he's fantastic

He isn't the stealthy bond originally portrayed, agreed. He's not he best fit, agreed.

But he's fucking sick, I love him as bond. I thoroughly enjoy him playing the character and taking it to new heights
 
I played that two nights ago with my buddies, the snow level in multiplayer with the two bases is my favorite map by far.

thank god someone brought that shit up

Wow. That looks surprisingly good. I do like Craig as Bond (for the reasons stated in OP). Maybe I'll have to break my rule of never seeing movies and go see a movie...
 
Looks sick, loved the last two, I love how Craig plays bond, classy but fucking baller. The first chase scene in casino royal (?) through the construction zone is so sick
 
how many Bond actors do you think there were?

I count 6. And 6th obviously goes to Lazenby. So he damned well better be top 5.

My list goes like this:

Connery

Craig

Dalton

Brosnan

Moore (although practically tied with Brosnan in my opinion)

Lazenby
 
also did just look them up. one of them isn't even british. so he's a write off. the other guy is an epic actor though.
 
We'll stick with 6 Bonds then. He's still #5 for me.

Moore (maybe Craig, depending on how this movie goes)

Even by your rules, Craig is still #5 maybe #4 on my list. Every Bond before him has similar qualities for the most part. Craig's Bond is set apart from the rest IMO. Not saying I don't like him as James Bond, I just have a different image set aside for the Bond that I like to see played.

Daniel Craig is also one of my favorite actors in recent years, so that should be saying something.

 
I've beaten the fuck out of that game so many times.

I'm the man at that game.

It just sucks I can never play it again because the graphics go so far back. 4 player slap was the best thing ever invented
