in the new skiing magazine it says that he will try a 235 footer that is fucking crazy! it is supposed to be on the backside of grand targhee

dude he will die unless there is about o 40 feet of the softest snow ever without any rocks on a sloped hill... then he will be fine, but if there is a rock, or the snow crusts, or he gets a little wobbly in the air... he is gone... plus once he bomb-holes in 40 feet of snow they are gonna have to dig his ass out...

Thats friggin nuts, I will have to go to Borders and read that...I believe he will try it though, I mean the guy was doing inverts off 100+ft cliffs this year. The record now is like 220 or so done by some guy who put foam blocks in a backpack to help absorb the impact...no bullshit on that.

not 9 feet per second, but 9.8 meters per second squared. so ever second, he would increase his speed by 9.8 meters per second. i doubt off a 200 something foot cliff he would reach terminal velocity. the cliff would need to be a lot bigger

IT seems stupid to me. I mena 225 is crazy but if you run the risk of dying or like breaking your sternum or other stuff it doesnt seem worth it. I mena hes done like 160 that seems plenty big. It kind like spinnig sure 1440 are cool but it is more of a sideshow trick versus a legit trick such as 9's and cork 7's that peaople can put real style in to.

rob holmes was launching fronts over 80 foot cluiff and landing a good 80 feet lower then the actual end of the cliff.

235 is doable but the landing have to be steep as fuck so he wont drown into powder

hed have to be retarded to try to land on his feet. even with 10 feet of fresh and a 40 degree landing its still enough to break your fuckin legs. if he has half a brain he'll hip check that fucker and let his whole body take the slam. i doubt hes going to go through with it though. if guys like mcconkey and seth see an 100 footer as being huge, surely twice that is insane.

when calculating the velocity of him, don't forget to take air resistance into it, since that IS the only reason fro there being a terminal velocity.

fuck it he should just jump a 300+ft clif at 235 he's gettin pretty close to terminal velocity... I think. Whats the difference he'll hit the ground at about the same speed. He might as well just jump out of an airplane.

 
holmes did hucked himself off a 80 ffot cliff and landed a good 80 feet further then where he launched and the 'landing' was reallly inclined.... so that means he dropped another good 60 feet .

damn when Candide hit the 110-foot hip straight down at superpark I couldn't believe what I saw...so this guy will probably demolish himself on this since it's more than 2 times bigger.
