Jackson Hole Vs. Whistler

now that's a bold statement.

While I do agree that Whistler may be more accommodating for the usual ski vacation (less aggressive skiing, families, weekend warriors, etc), you assume that that is what the OP wants. Some people want to go on a ski trip strictly for the skiing, not based around what bars and entertainment are there. Ever heard of Bralorne, BC? Look it up if you haven't.

Some of the best big mountain shredders come from a racing background, as it teaches good habits. Park skiing does the opposite IMO for big mountain lines.

My home hill is Targhee. For a week long trip you might get bored of JHole. It all depends on the snow and if you mind crowds. We have some good terrain over here you just can't be a total gaper if you want to find it.

yea but raceing is boring as shit. i mean who wants to wait in line to ski on ice when you know there is a pow line somewhere you could be shredding
