So its now less then 3 weeks until me and 3 of my buddies head out there for 6 days and I've honestly never been more excited for a big mountain ski trip in my entire life. I know they have some of the highest snow amounts in the country this year, although its still a bit below average for their own year to date...but I was just wondering how everyone out there is enjoying their winter?

How's the terrain/powder/coverage? I'll be there last week of Feb to first week of March, what should I be expecting? I just purchased some Bent Chetlers and can't wait to take em to the deep stuff....

it was tits deep last april when i was there last. dont think that helps ya since all that snow melted. big sky is prime 3 hours north of jackson right now

Its epic. Just got done skiin here for the first time and its probably the sickest resort ive been to. Snow is great, north facing parts were really good today. Got 3 inches but at the top it felt a lot deeper. Definitely hike up to the headwall or casper, I hiked up to crags today and had the best run of the season. Tons or big drops and nice lines. Hit me up if you want some more info, gonna be here for the next few days.

You're so lucky, I'll be there the following Wednesday. I hope they get hit once again the following week!

keep the fingers crossed, but seriously even if you dont get a dump, you will still have an amazing time and theres always fresh stuff to be had. jackson is truly one of a kind. get stoked.

hey i am a tourist like you. mar 3-7th

never been jhole, but ...

If you want to ski together and shit let me know. IN FACT if you have $ and want to try and bribe some locals to show us around/shoot pics I will throw in with you. I say this because JHMR charges like $600 fuckin bucks for a "semi-private backcountry guide" and I just can't fathom all that cash when the guy doin it makes like $10 an hour or some shit.
