Hey, does anyone know the deal with the Jackson Hole tram? They are supposed to shut it down and not have a lift to the top for 2 years. Thats all i know about it so far.

 
they are takin it down after this season, forever, unless they raise like 15 mil or somthing

ye they're gonna close it cause i think they need a new one cause this one is too old or something. And its too expensive for them to get a new one.

poor thing, o well the blue/red seems to running just fine :) but that really does suck, im def gonna have to get to jackson this season.

Thats a shame, that tram lets you access such dope terrain, It will be missed. I bet all the hardcore jackson locals will just hike all that terrain. I'm glad I atleast got some good time on that thing...not enough but some good memories.

 
there gonna replace it in around 7 years, until they get the funds. But, jackson has spent lots for cash on other worthless shit that could've gone towards a new tram. So the word on the street goes.

 
represent. the tram was built like 39 yrs ago. last season almost every day they were on top fixing it. this town is almost built around the tram. But now all of the gay ass tourists that only go up there for the view can't steal perfectly good powder. when they take it down i'm gona hike it every pow day.now every other lift will have huge lines. shit, this sucks

 
how will the other lifts have huge lift lines. the tram only carries 240 people to the top every hour. that means that 4 extra people per minute will be dispersed on the other 10 lifts. that is nothing. sorry
