Jackson Hole Spring Break?

I'm going up to Jackson Hole for spring break this year (march 10th-17th) and was wondering how it is around this time? Conditions, weather, crowds, etc?

It was god awful last year, but that was really out of the ordinary for the time I think. I love jackson hole though, you should be able to have a good time regardless

March is hit or miss and you can hit it big. Crowds are pretty relaxed. Nightlife can be good, but I've never been there as an outsider.

I was up for midwinter break...we got 18 inches one night then it was bright and sunny the next day. Pretty crazy weather but makes for some good skiing

hit or miss depending on conditions. but if its snowing u should have no problems finding the goods.
also make sure u eat at Bubba's BBQ and dont for get that its BYOB. Also, St Pattys is really fun in JH.

If you have avalanche knowledge and the equipment you will have more fun.
If not hike headwall over and over again and ski crags.
Also if you're driving spend a day or two at targahee they have a two for Tuesday or did last year 2 tickets for price of one. Might be on a different day this year.
Targahee is also really great.
Lastly, respect the locals, especially if you see a JHAF sticker and or patch because they deserve it.

Conditions, they hadn't gotten any snow in like a month, everyone was telling us it was the worst month of snow they had in like decades. The mountain was barely open top to bottom with a lot of closures. I was up there again this January and the conditions still werent amazing but I had a blast both years. Definitely worth checking out if you are into trees, steeps, cliffs, etc.

I was there in January and I had a great time, though it was unusually warm for Jackson (like 20s, which is what I'm used to anyway in Tahoe). The snow was great anyway. Everyone I've talked to says it can be anything in March up there, but I think it'll be fun regardless, plus if you have a beacon and such you can always go hike some sweet untracked lines if you know where to go.

also, anybody know some of the best shops around Jackson? Like best turnaround time on remounting? Cos I'll be getting into town the afternoon of Friday the 11th, and was hoping/wondering if I would be able to give them my skis that afternoon, have them remounted and pick them back up in the morning before we head to the slopes?

Dude, most ski town shops should be able to do it. Where are you staying? Cowboy village? There is one right across the street that mounted my buddies in 30 mins.

The dollar tree is also worth checking out as it has some dope ass scarfs.

I'll definitely check out the dollar tree! We're staying at Love Ridge Condos (by snowking) if you know where that is. What's the closest shop to there?
