Jackson Hole Questions

Going to jackson for my first time in week. And instead of wasting a day or two searching for the dank spots I figure a few of you guys can give me hints where to ride on pow days, if I get them, and where to ride on not so pow days.

Also if any locals want to meet up it would be much appreciated.

"safety reasons"...it needs to be replaced in like 3 years or so, so they decided to play it safe and take it out after this season.

Im going there for my fist time too in a couple of weeks. Im flying into boise, id and i was just wondering if it would be worth it not to go to jackson for the first day and goto sun valley instead or should i not waste a day at sun valley?

go to the crags... go directly to the crags.... do not pass the park, do not collect powder shots.... go directly to the crags

no but seriously, its a hike but its way worth it

Go post the same thing on TGR...I'm sure you'll get as much and more than you can handle if you ski with some of the locals.

go straight to the Craigs. its a 10 minute hike and its well worth it. If you have some extra time hike the headwall. also try the saratoga bowls or anything off the thunder lift.

a lot of good stuff off of sublette lift. your best bet would be to ski with a local cuz a lot of good spots are hard to find or out of bounds

Sublette and Thunder quads are sweet if the tram line's too long, also check out the crags and headwall as people suggested earlier. If you do go up the tram, hit corbet's and then the expert chutes, it's an awesome run.

You can access a lot of backcountyr from the Tram, and a lot of it leads you back in bounds. I recomend the Rock Springs and Cody area.
