Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee Trip

Hey. Me and my friends are heading west out Jackson Hole this Feb break. We will probably stop at Targhee too. Obviously we will be skiing mainly bowls and pow, but probably some park too. Their websites havent been too much help, soo how are the parks there?

at JH last season they had three about 30 foot jumps on four or five rails. You go to JH for the sick lines, then when it's skied out you hike for sick lines. Targhee had 0 jumps over 10 feet, but a bunch of sick rails

you really shouldnt be going there and skiing park. the parks are whack, i was at jackson last week and their pipe is pretty fun actually. they are building their "big" park right now but dont expect much

Honestly, Jackson Hole has enough gnarly terrain and natural things to mess around on that I don't think you'll miss a good park at all.

they do. Go up the gondola then hike straight up the bootpack next to it. Ski/ walk over to casper bowl, slay. repeat

casper bowls awesome, easiest way is to hike it from the top of cirque

What do they mean by "access through gates only"?

Well JONG access gates are ones that are provided through the resort limits to the BC which you shouldn't go through since you obviously don't know what they are. Targahees park is pretty sweet actually, or it was last time I was there but if you are coming up to the region and wanting to ride park, spare us the flailing of you in powder and go to keystone.

Well just an fyi its going to be cold as fuck, especially if you go to targahee, it was slushy at jackson and cold at targahee the same day...

targhee got rid of there park this season so no jumps and no rails. Jackson has their pipe and mini park up and there building their bigger park right now. The bigger park is never really something special so i would stay away from targhee and just ski powder at jackson, the terrain's much better and right now there both getting a good amount of snow. Targhee is getting really crowded this winter
