Yo, WE (the TPC) are hosting the Jackpot Rail jam @ Heavenly on Sat the 17th. Come down and get your shred on and win some cash money... given away a $1000.00 plus swag. sign up is at the race dept. day of and on hill from like 3-4...but sign up early cause we're only letting 50 ppl in skiers and boarders of all ages. going to have Live DJ's, MC's and GIRLS!! and some other things going on too. so come hang out with the TPC cause we're cool like that PLUS we're givin away $$$$...lol

OH AND ITS A QUALIFIER FOR THE SESSIONS LOG JAM

and for all you that dont shred can come watch...plenty of space to check out the carnage...

The TPC is just tryin to share the love with all the Loc's...

 
only $5.. thats it. as far as a ticket or pass not sure, ask the race dept. thier the ones doing the sign ups. but it is in the base area...so your not needing to use any lifts.
 
you dont need a ticket just hike 100 ft up the hill.

i really, really dont think you have to qualify, your team manager just has to sign you up.

sponsored is such a vauge term... i would say about 75% of kids in the tahoe area are "sponsored" last year it seemed like skiing wasnt a priority in the comp anyway... despite the weather. hopfully this year skiers will get props and the weather will be better.
 
anyone can do the jackpot event.. only 50ppl thou. and as far as sponsored riders...yeah most kids do claim. but the sessions event the TEAM Manager (TM) are the only ones able to sign up thier riders... and we know the TM's so kinda hard to cheat.
 
+ 2 rails off the back side, it its really hard to go up- stall and have speed to even come back down the other box
 
well it will be similar to the pic.. new Taller wallride wedge 7ft tall by 12ftwide...so easier to come back into those boxes..more speed. An yes probably a down rail and a FD rail on the back side to keep things flowin.. see ya there.

OH PS we rebuild Groove park last night and WAAAAAYYYY sicker!! almost a medium park now. go check it you'll have fun. TPC
 
not yet... the next few days ALOT is going to be happening & changing in powderbowl and high roller... should be stoked by the weekend. we might be unveiling something else on sat too...?
 
ur video isnt workin. thanks to all that came out... super fun and great turn out. sorry we couldnt let more ppl in, had to squeeze it all in in a 2hr time frame...and it went over with only the 50. Glad ppl where stoked on the layout. I'll see if we can do 1 more sometime this year..? TPC

SIGN UP EARLY- STARTED @ 10AM AND IF IT DIDNT FILL UP ON-SITE FROM 3-4...IF THERE WAS ROOM. WE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SIGN UPS... THAT WAS THE RACE DEPARTMENT. SIGN UP EALY NEXT TIME LIKE ANY OTHER CONTEST..ESSPECIALLY IF U KNOW THERS ONLY 50 SPOTS. SORRY
 
WHEN YOU SAY SIGN UP IS AT LIKE 3-4 SO SIGN UP EARLY BECAUSE SPOTS ARE LIMITED, PEOPLE THINK THAT MEANS GET THERE AT 3. YEA AND IT'S OKAY... YOU SHOULDA PUT THE DOWN BOX AND D/F/D BOX AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.
 
judging was fuck to, you need some skiiers who know what they are talking about next time. and no gay ass filmers from local tv. fuck that guy.
 
yeah DAY OF... event. you wait until right before the event to sign up your odds arent to good. sorry, not are call. race dept. deal not ours.

well they guys I think your talking about were just MC's not judges.. we did have a skier that knew what the tricks were. yeah those TV guys where pissing me off to... had to tell them 3 times to move... about to boot them from the event. but over all the event was fun and ppl were stoked on the layout and everything.

yeah 1 DFD,boring... yeah i think that box is sick and we could maybe do something with it another time but the feature we set up was WAAAAAAAY better. and it you dont think so then I guess you arent creative enough or dont have to many tricks up ur sleeve.
 
That wall ride was set up super sketchily. Props to the guy hand planting it, but the snow was a 30 degree angle into a wall that is about 75 degrees. You need to make the transition less abrupt and not have the metal wedge into it. Just put a small regular jump in from further away so that you can bring more speed into the wall.
 
well there woudnt have been any where to set it up... except were the judges tent was... anmd we needed that zone, plus still had to keep the rest of night park open.

yeah the snow froze from the day before to the wall ride..so we couldnt match up the tranny to the wallride. and it wasnt THAT bad.. if it was you wouldnt have been ablt to ride it and even the kids could do it.

but soon we will open nightlife during the day....
