Jackets

I second Helly Hansen. As far as quality it is pretty close to the top and their shit looks tight too.

HellyHansen and The North face are probably the best you will find interms of keeping you dry. but I find sessions gives you the best for your buck.

My Orage keeps me pretty dry. You really got to go for the full 20,000 mm over here tho, it really is needed. And dont skimp out on pants either, wet thighs suck.

10,000 is not that bad. does the trick as long as it is not pouring rain and you are stuck on a chair lift. adn when it is pouring rain we wear trash bags.

Orage is cool and all, but there shit falls apart in one season. Granted, so does Helly Hansen, but its all life time warrenty.

Bullshit, my $150 Air Project has lasted me two seasons and will probably do me for another three.

I kinda want a white jacket tho, an all white setup would be cool. Plus, nobody would be able to see me in deep powder, and I'd never be found in an avalanche.

did the pants fall apart?

but who knows? maybe their products have gotten better over the past 2 or 3 years

LSKP

maybe it's just the ones you bought, cause i've had may AWD coat for a couple years now and it's in good condition, and my AWD pants are alright as well, just rips at the bottom of the pant cuffs from walking on them and rail stains.
