Jacket 4 sale (used only once)

I bought this Obermeyer jacket in March and used it one day and realized it's a bit too small

couldn't return it because the labels were off and haven't used it since

it's a size L

I paid $190 on sale, and since it's just as good as brand new, I'll sell it for $130 + shipping

it's waterproof and breathable and is really cool looking, the pictures don't do it justice

it's literally brand new...I wore a fleece windstopper under it and realized it was too small, made a few runs and used my vest instead

was going to return it when I realized i didn't have the tags

they aren't making it next year either, so it's the last of it's kind in brand new condition

it lists for $250 new

You never take tags off a jacket when you buy it.

If they're on the inside collar, just leave them inside.

if they're on the zipper of a pocket, you zip them inside.

I kept the tags on my Dub jacket for like 3 months last year, and was planning to exchange the jacket for a different size until the jacket got washed and the tags got ruined.

hahaha i did that with one of my jackets for a return i had a mark on it from dirt and i told them thats why i wanted a different one!!

Did u forget about the tags or did sumone else thow it in the wash!!

re: losing the tags -- my girlfriend saw the tags on the floor and threw them out.... it killed me when I found out (but the makeup sex was good)

in a day or two I'm going to list this on TGR if nobody here is interested

it's a brand new --$250-- waterproof/breathable jacket going for $130 and they aren't making it next year

I ordered this direct from Obermeyer because this style never got distributed on the west coast

by the time I tried to get one in XL to replace this one in early April, they were sold out

 
The fact that those seams are only critically taped and that Obermeyer refuses to list the mm/g ratings makes me suspect its real waterproofness... does it give the ratings on any of the tags?

there is a layer behind the lining that looks just like Gore_tex and it beads water just like it

Gore-tex went off patent a few years ago, that's why so many imitators can offer waterproof and breathable fabrics now...they just copied GoreTex (ie. HyVent, Schoeller, etc)

 
very disapointing that OB doesn't list MM rating on its waterproofness for any of its products.

all of the GoreTex lining knock-offs work just as well because they copied the GoreTex patent when it expired

email Obermeyer and ask them directly what the stats are, I'm sure they will get back to you on it, then post the result

this jacket beads water like my GoreTex XCR jacket, and without the fabric stiffness

 
there are different grades of gortex i have a 20,000mm W/Proofness and a 5,000mm W/Proofness both bead water but one is way more water proof, thats the rating scale, if the company doesn't rate it, then its prob not that high, because its a huge selling point for big mt gear.

yeah thier high end jackets are nice but i would NEVER buy a waterproof anything with out knowing the MM rating first just that simple.

check out zach davidsons acount and you can see a picture of him wearing the vortex but its in linen and looks 100 times better then that colour
