Jack black is funny too but i havent seen to many of his movies. I heard orange county was pretty good, Ive seen saving silverman where he was alright i guess but not hilarious.

Old Will Ferrell in my opinion, but for more recent activity I'm going to go I'd go with Jack Black over Will Ferrell simply because of the diversity in his roles. Take a look at Ferrells last few movies, He's played the same character in every single one while Jack Black has really diversified his roles and hasn't fallen into a slump like Ferrell has. Both are undoubtedly two of the funniest actors out there though.

I thought Semi Pro was fucking hilarious, I was so blunted and every line I was just dying with laughter. Other Will ferrell movies like Anchorman sometimes take time to grow on me but I though Semi Pro was hilarious.
