I've been reading about J skis all day and am wondering if i should buy a pair. has anyone demo'd or owned them?

They are pretty damn sweet. I'll be posting a review on both the Whipit and the Allplay soon.

ridiculously fun ski but the durability just isn't there.

You must treat them like shit. Mine have held up fine over 53 days of Park and rough tree skiing.

i ride my park skis like park skis and these ones fell apart in a way i've never seen before.

Was it an earlier model? Jason said that the skis had some durability problems when the company was just starting out.

i had 2nd gen tropic thunders. again they are the funnest skis i'v ever ridden and the warranty is the best in the business but i just don't like going through more than one pair a season

Yeah my twisters had the edge pretty much dissolve on them. Granted I was disastering rails to flat so I put them through a beating. Not a huge fan of the durability

The "Friend" by J is my exact dream ski. I have read/heard many good things about J skis. My friend had a pair of Allplays that worked perfect for him, but the topsheet was demolished from doing a bunch of crosses.
