J skis vs sego

I have recently been looking into new skis and am stuck between the all play and the sego big horn 96. I am an east coast skier. I spend most of my time just having fun all over the mountain. I am not a huge park guy but I like to hit jump and side hits throughout the mountain. I am 5'7, and a sophomore in hs. I am currently on a whippet but out grew them. I have look pivots 14 (I believe 95-115 brake but I could be wrong)

If other then let me know what you think

Sego.... but get like 102 or so underfoot, just in case you hit that random pow day??

I am not going to vote in your poll to keep the results fair and balanced. However I will leave this comment here to provide some context on the Allplay. Jason designed the Allplay with the mindset that it needed to be able to handle any condition you can wake up to on an East Coast morning. From 12-14 inches of powder to man made snu, the Allplay provides float when you want it and grip when you need it. The soft flex patterns keeps you playing all around the hill, and the carbon fiber stringers keeps the ski stable when charging down icy terrain. If you want any more information about the Allplay and how it compares to other skis stop by our website and the customer service crew would be happy to provide some insight. Hopefully those Whipits served you well!

I’m not going to provide insight either direction, But I will say that sego is practically out of buisiness so you may not be able to warranty a pair if you break them.

The fact that they laid off all but about 2 employees...

they are still indeed making skis, but pretty much just enough to fill stores pre orders around the tetons and maybe some of their online vendors. Last I heard they were down to 1 ski builder until they can secure more funding from somewhere.

Dont get me wrong, I’m not trying to put them down even though they laid off a bunch of my friends, I’m just warning someone because I would be pissed if I spent a bunch of money on a niche ski brand and then they closed they’re doors.

I ended up with the all plays. 178 size thanks for your opinions!

Thanks a ton for the stoke and support! You're going to love the Allplay, such a fun East-Coast do-it-all with ease ski.

What the hell? When I moved out of Driggs in the spring, I was hearing that they were planning to expand, and maybe even start building snowboards.

They clearly spent all their money on marketing before actually building the brand. So typical new ski brand behavior.
