JL is for players only. I dont respect them, but since they have started making ski cloathes and sponsing comps, i am beginning to like them. not mye type of clothes.

But if i had gotten much $$$ for riding their stuff and design their clothes, I couldnt say no. jon olsson is the king!

By the way, their stuff will cost as much as oakley stuff

and remember that lindeberg himself are a skier and from what i recall he has even skibummed some times,

and you have to give the guy some creds for makeing ski clothes in the way he think they should look.

The downside of it all is that there will be alot of jetseters running around in his clothes.

Well, Jon said in an interview at freeskier.se that the clothes wont be any more expensive that oakley outerwear cuz he wanted normal people to afford them! So screw you who thought tha JL would be the most expensive clothes.

i think its funny how they are marketing really expensive cloths to skiers. it will prolly work though, because skiers are either A) Poor ass kids who use there paychecks week after week to ski, and still can't afford new shit, or B) really rich preppy kids that get whatever they want. I think JLindeberg might do well.

Skiing is getting way to fashion oriented. The logo on your jacket wont make you ski any better. The only reason you should buy more expensive outerware is if its core and you are doing it to support the ski industry. Get Orage, Siver, DNA, Quiksilver, whatever but dont go to a designer company so you can pay $4000 on a fucken jacket and support gay fashion designers in Europe listening to techno.

Second off give lindeberg a break, his company havent had a profit (think its called that) untill last year so hes working hard for something he belives in and thats pretty "core" if you ask me.

^the way I look at it every time a kid buys from a core company they are contributing to our sport, our industry every "extreme" sprot industry is declining. Every time a kid gets a North Face jacket you are fueling the design of tents for camping not new twin tip skis. Every time a kid gets a PSP instead of a pair of skis the ski industry falls one skier shorter. So spend your money wisely and only buy from companies you think are doing the right thing.

Let's settle this once and for all: DNA is a division of Descente Outerwear, a company made famous by racers all around the world. I'm pretty sure that DNA is actually just a cool sounding acronym for Descente North America, but don't quote me on that. Last time I checked, Descente outerwear wasn't all that cool, comfortable, or useful. Congratulations, you got suckered by an ad campaign!

Quiksilver? Pimp shit, but they're about as far from core as you can get. When your annual revenues top a billion dollars a year, I'm pretty sure "core" is just about the LAST thing you can be. Not that it matters cuz Quiksilver shit is sick.

^Thanks genious. I know DNA is Descente but atleast they made aseperate division of their company to make products, pretty much making them "core" siver is owned by orage and we still call them core. and quiksilver may be huge but atleast you are not supporting Spider.
