Stoked to be headed back to this burly mountain for the season and picking my job back up at the infamous Corbets Cabin. Who else is going to be situated in God country for the winter?

My brother and I will be. We will be noticeable by our funky hip hop, loud comments, and overall stoke.

got my skis boots poles pass

24 hrs til lift service! I haven't had a full season pass here since 11/12... or used this website for that matter

So I moved out of JH in June and was planning on taking a season off to rehab myself, buuuuut this midwest life is killing me! I need to get back out there so Im putting out a feeler for a room/couch/bed/closet/laundry room. Anything would help, even if its for a week or two while I network in person that would be the tits!

I will bring immeasurable amounts of stoke, Im a mean cook, can mount and tune your gear, plus I can clean with the best of em!

How was opening day? Resort said 7 runs open right? Anyone venture off into the rock garden and trees skiers right of AV towards where the Crags filter out?

C-

Pretty weak opening. Only Teewi and AV were running, accessing essentially 2 main runs. Parks and pipe are coming along but nothings totally built yet except some kiddie hits. Only redeeming factors were reunions and seeing friendly faces from last season or the summer, and the relief that the offseason is at its end.

Friday was $6 day and I did not go, but heard it was very crowded as expected. Today, Casper lift opened so there's a few more runs up. Still zero of 10 terrain park areas. Less than ideal weekend, especially when compared to Targhee's successful opening weekend last week.

Yea a few side hits over there and safety meeting spots. And we checked out the new Teton lift which looks awesome. Screw the naysayers-- I can't wait for that thing to spin

See any tracks dropping off behind the bathrooms at the top of AV? Im ready to get back out there, hopefully less than a month!

Probably not. Well be there the 26-28

^Seriously! I was just down for four days skiing GTNP and the pass, and it just got deeper every day. Today on the pass was over the shoulders on pretty much every turn, and snowing a little harder each trip back up.

It literally won't stop dumping. I need a full day off but I just can't do it everyday seems to be getting better.

Sorry I left the area when I did, but avy situation freaking hit the tipping point today. Stay safe everybody!

Why did I ever leave!?!? Looks like its shaping up to be another year that central will be 'easily' skiable!

Update... we are now mid winter conditions with a deep, relatively stable base. Light snow on top clear days ahead on the forecast. JHMR and teton pass all skiing well. For example, Alta zero opened today. Big lines like Central and breakneck are getting hit. It's gonna be a big weekend! Be safe out there
