I don't think we should boycott j crew. Maybe start imposing ourselves on chinas fucked up view on ethical treatment of animals and people for that matter.
 
those fuckers. of course we're no better because we do that sort of thing to chickens, cows, and pigs. but at least we don't steal peoples pets.
 
there is no proof that j. crew is using dog and cat fur in their clothing sold in the united states. that is super fucked up though, and something should be done about it. fur in general is really fucked up. if you are hunting deer for food, then use the hide for something, but don't bludgeon a poor baby seal for fur to trim your $800 bogner jacket.

i'm not gonna defend j.crew or the china fur trade here, but i will say that this website is bullshit, and if you're going to boycott anything, do your own research, because this websites argument is weak. they use a lot of words like "possibly" and "may" and "probably" when describing j.crew's use of the fur in question. that language should send up bullshit flares to anyone with a functioning brain. not to mention the fact that if they have to use shock tactics to get you to pay attention, their case is probably not that compelling to begin with. animal cruelty is obviosly terrible, and if j.crew is a part of it, well then they suck... but i don't think anyone has shown any actual evidence that they are.
 
Yeah, the website never even says that J.Crew does any of this, they just say something like "some china fur is really dog/cat fur, J.Crew buys fur from China so their's might be dog/cat".

But honestly, just because J.Crew isn't doing it doesn't mean it's not happening. What the fuck is wrong with some people?

and our meat faces competition, so it must from reltivly healthy, meaty animals with no broken bones to sell.

gross, but i agree they are just trying to scare you, thats not the case most times. it shouldn't really affect my fur buying at all...probably because the only fur i bought was on my jacket, and i think its fake. so i'm just giong to say this, fuck j.cruel! and fuck j.crew! cas i could care less about either of them.

boycott china, they don't make anything useful to me (or you) and just pollute as their environmental standards don;t exist.

fuck wearing fur. jesus. What makes puppies and cats any different from any other animal for that matter though? You think minks are treated much better? I really hate how certain animal species' lives are valued more than other. i.e. humans vs. cows. puppies vs. deer.... the concept of superiority over any animals is super fucked up. Tigers are more complex animals than puppies, yet when one sees tiger-skin it's a much different feeling empathetically than seeing puppy fur... the entire system of wearing animal carcass is fucked. I'm too angry to write any more about this . fuck fuck fuck. dont eat meat, save the animals, all that good stuff.
 
thats sooo sad.. even if it wasn't cats and dogs. wearing fur is just stupid. i honestly dont think it even looks that nice. it just makes you look like a stuck up rich snob who's willing to kill innocent animals just so you can have some stupid jacket you can wear with a fancy dress.
