theyre all good but probably either miles or coltrane for me.

speaking of, who saw that coltrane cat joke in the new simpsons a coule weeks ago, it was hilarious

Man, the last few weeks I've been digging the original Clifford Brown & Max Roach album... really, really good.

I like Eric Dolphy, most anything by Coltrane...

Miles' 'Filles de Kilimanjaro' is an awesome album that I just heard... it's basically him teetering on the edge of fusion, so it's mad funky.

And my jazz recommendation for the day: Get stoned off your rocker and listen to Frank Zappa's Jazz from Hell. Funniest shit ever.

'I didn't give up in Vietnam, and I won't give up here,' Kerry added.

If you are looking for some newer stuff check out some of the Dave Holland Quintet/Sestet stuff. Really smooth, kinda funky. I just got their live at Birdland album which is top notch.

For older stuff check out all the people mentioned before along with Sonny Rollings and Oscar Peterson.

Miles Davis. Thelonious Monk is amazing too. i got to see his son this summer in Steamboat at a venue thats usually for strings performances but it still was a fuckin jam. they had everybody in there, even the super buttoned down folks vibin.

miles davis and pretty much anything from the 30's. Billy Holliday is my favorite female vocalist jazz singer. For some newer stuff check out Mark Farina. It's called Mushroom Jazz. It's kinda like beats with singing and nature sounds in it. Really dope.

Eggs and bacon please, eggs over skeezy

The Bird (Charlie Parker) is the fuckin man. I like Ornette Coleman and Charles Mingus too. For most young kids, Jazz is an untapped mecca, so many incredible artists.

I like all JAZZ music it is all pretty good

Let's face it, no one posts anything serious on NS, and even if I wanted to, it would be answered by some not-so-clever variation of the following:

'You're gay', 'you suck', 'I fucked your mom last night', 'Eat shit', 'fuck you', or my favourite, 'I'm a better skier than you'. Jib_This
