Im turning 20 this year so i figured its about time i manned up and bought a watch. heres what im looking for; if you know of something that fits most of these criteria, shout it out or post a link. if you have any other advise id love to hear it since i dont know very much about the watch market.

it must be less than 50 dollars. it doesnt need to be a piece of art or ultra-fucking-accurate as i have many other things to spend my money on.

analog or hybrid. i only want 1 or two buttons and something very easy to read on the fly.

glow in the dark or light up.

not flashy, shiny, or otherwise attention grabbing.

fairly low profile. it doesnt need to be one of those ones thats as thin as the band, but i dont want anything too bulky, either.

durable / water resistant - i work outside and in the water.

canvas or leather band. metal watch bands are for italians.

It may be a little childish but I love it and its very durable and nice, and water resistant till 30 meters. Overall I love this watch and they still make them but at 75 they are a tiny bit above your price range. I would say its worth it though. 603174.jpeg

Who needs a watch when you can get a clock.

analog means a dial with minute and hour hands, not a digital screen. other than that, its a nice looking watch and im looking at some other neff ones on the same site.

Timex Weekender. Choose your favorite color band.

Simple, low profile, tons of canvas band choices, easy to read, Indiglo. I think it's your ticket.

For a fairly cheap watch, I prefer to stay away from leather bands. Rarely do I see cheap leather that looks good.

Despite having several more expensive watches, I wear this all the time:

I like the extremely understated aesthetics and low profile. It has a plastic band though. I like it because I can sweat and just wipe it off. I bought my first one before traveling to Nicaragua then liked it so much (and its so cheap) that I have several more.

After finding it on Amazon, I considered buying it as I liked it a lot as well and it's a bit different from what I have.

Mishka makes some cool watches that are inexpensive. They might be a little loud for your taste though

-k for whoring your clymb account out with ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AT ALL.
FYI, joining through this douche will give him credit (money) on the site. There are no watches on there currently and most watches that do come on there are crap.

yeah man no watches at all. theres watches on the clymb all the time and there happens to be 2 specific timex wathches right up his alley at the moment.

This might be a little more expensive than what you are looking for at like $75, but I've had two of these in digital and absolutely love them. Bombproof and lifetime warranty, work killer in the surf, hanging around, anything you can put them through. Definitely look into freestyle watches, especially the shark models because they are super cheap and last forever, especially if you were willing to go digital.
