I've Landed Every Existing Grab on RIDERS App

Let's get this straight : I'm an amateur skier. I ski in my backyard as a hobby. Where I live, ski conditions were pretty bad this year and with COVID-19, going to a ski station was complicated. So yes, my jumps are ridiculously small. And no, my grabs aren't perfect. Also, 90% of these clips shows the very first time I landed the grab. So I think every grab here deserves more "love" (and airtime). Nevertheless, here is my 2021 winter project.

Blunt

I'm not quite sure what is the difference between a blunt and a tail grab.

Bow Arrow

Critical

The tweak is a bit strange, but I think that by looking at the grip, it's a critical.

Double Japan

Double Mute

I did this earlier this year. I wasn't very good at crossing skis at that time. I guess the grip is ok, but I definitely have to work on that.

Double Tail

I think there are different "Double Tail" grabs, but here is one.

Guitar

High Mute

Calling that a "High Mute" might be a bit misleading as my ski aren't crossed. I guess I could say "I've Landed Every Existing Grab on RIDERS App except for the High Mute".

Nose Japan

This one wasn't easy. I don't know if I want to improve this one or even do it again.

Octo Grab

I went a bit backward, but hopefully the jump was small. That mistake would have been a bit more "fatal" on a XL jump.

Safety

Seatbelt

What is this crazy grab!? I couldn't do it without bringing my ski closer with my other hand. Big respect for anyone able to pull that off cleanly.

Shifty

Well, this is not a grab, but RIDERS put this one in the grab category.

Taipan

Truck Driver

Venom Grab

More airtime is needed for this one. Definitely gonna work on that next year.

P.S.: Sorry for double posting. I failed the formatting of my last thread and I couldn't modify nor delete it. I already contacted the mods to delete the other thread.

Nice! For clarification, blunt is grabbing the very tip of the tail, tindy is grabbing tail on the outside and a normal tail grab is considered grabbing the tail on the inside of the ski.

wow no idea how you grabbed spins on such a small jump. Should be a lot easier once you get back to a real park!

Thanks for the clarification! Do you think my "Blunt or Tail" is more a Tindy, a Tail or a Blunt?

What's it called when you grab safety, but over the top of your other ski? For example right hand to left ski, and your wrist/forearm is over your right ski. I seem to do this on accident every once in a while

Right hand gripping the front or middle part of your left ski (wrist over the ski) is called a Mute Grab. Generally speaking, by default, people assume skis are crossed when you refer to "Mute". So if skis are uncrossed, you could just say it's an "uncrossed mute".

It’s right in the middle of tail and blunt but you could get away with calling it blunt because it’s so close

Definitely not mute. Imagine safety but you grab one ski further and tweak it out

Seatbelt. But I think your arm has to go over your knee (not under). As in snowboarding, the idea of this grab is to grab awkwardly in diagonal like you would do in a car with a seatbelt.

If the hand goes a bit further to the front, it's a mute (as described in the judge handbook). If your arm goes under your knee, it's like a low mute I guess (as opposed to a High mute)? If your arm goes over your knee, I guess it's a crazy tweaked seatbelt grab.
