Lately I have been hearing alot of rumors about how RCR's mountains are not having parks at all this year. Apparently it was due to a lawsuit filed against lake louise, and 1 close call at kimberley (both accidents were PURELY the riders fault, straightlining into a 15 foot table, clearly marked "M"). Alledgedly, this is enough financial turmoil to completly AXE the parks in lake louise, fernie, kimberley, and nakiska. I havent heard about the quebec mountains but I dont really care at this point.

Does anyone on here have connections to a person of high power at any of these resorts?
 
Well the rumors about no park have gone around for the last 3 or 4 years but ussually just because RCR says it isn't worth making parks.

It's stupid that people sue the hill when they get hurt, when my sister overshot at lake louise (broke both hips) she could have easily sued but she knew how stupid that would have been
 
hahha who skis park at RCR resorts anyways, when i say rcr resorts i mean just louise and fernie because nakiska and lame and kimberly is only good because it gets pow sometimes
 
ya last year i went to kimberly for 3 days and 2 of the 3 days it was pooring

so on the third day it was really icy and the snow was crusty so we pretty well hit park the whole day
 
umm nakiska has wikid banger jumps. and who cares if you dont goooooooo to louise or fernie to shred shralpiness? its an option.

plus if you go to fernie and its raining, its like an hour and a half from big mountain, where it will be pooping heavy white!
 
it's not always snowing at big mountain, it's not really that much higher in elevation anyway. But Big mountain is dope. Too bad the drinking age is 21, that's the only thing that keeps me from going there.
 
nakiska used to have good jumps a few years ago, last year sucked though, but louise has a super fun park, and they are just rumors that shit goes around every year
 
no.. actually He is right.. they nad no landings on almost any of them.... = not a jump =more like hitting a cliff onto hard pack = suck ass jumps last year at nakiska

they were smaller than years past. well kaos was anyways. but i never had a problem landing right. maybe you dont know how to hit jumps properly?

there was the butter box, it had the quick drop off...

 
butter box? they had one 2 years ago not last year dude

i think u have ur years screwed up, cause last year the jumps were built really bad there, no landing and nothing matched

2 years ago or 3 maybe now, thats when they had good jumps
 
No no, they for sure had it... I think its you that werent there this season.

it went double, double, kaos, gap onto butter box, left side hip to c rail at the end. then right outside the park across the groomer was a tree jib thingy for bonking and tapping. well it wasnt so much a jib as a tree and a big ass death cookie we carved into a ramp. hahaa.

now what?

I know Im not mistaken, we did lots of days there.

I never have any trouble with the jumps there or well anywhere for that matter. So I dont know what the fuck youre talking about when you say the shit there sucks. I dont think it does and Im glad that its there.

Have fun overshooting jumps retard.
 
Why is everyone so mad at nakiska?

Im stoked that its mostly jumps. And Im stoked how theyve been set up the last few years.

Oh and sorry if you dont think its a butter box, you jump on it and do butters off; thus= a butter box. But hey, call it whatever you want i guess.
 
no darris it went jump, jump, chaos then after chaos was a step up, and then after the step up was a hip on the left and a flat down box on the right, into a drop then a c box wierd thingy at the end
 
god dammit!!!!

how could I have forgotten the superspeed step up? It was kind of like a gap with no gap. You just you know? went over it.

I never hit the down box, so it doesnt count. aka I suck.
 
OHHHHH thanks than LEWLCAKES that probably it ROFLCOPTERRRRRRR i must be overshoot the landing by 40 feet everytime so they feel a littel funny LMAOborgnini!!!!
 
...do u try stuff off jumps tho...cuz thats when having good landings come in handy...but i could just be talking outta my ass...
 
These are just rumors as they are every year, Plus I have no clue how they fucked up the jumps so bad at nakiska last year, im pretty sure everyone agrees on that, The last time it was really good was three years ago.
 
im not trying to argue about anything. Im just saying I like nakiskas jumps... and I dont have a problem with their size or whatever from year to year.

and upon further conversation about the butter box... it did kinda suck. So hopefully its better or is replaced by some sort of neet feature this year.

I just read about fortress being closed for good. Too bad... too bad.
