Itunes wont open

i clicked itunes a bunch of times and its not opening...i even clicked "on Air" to see if it would open if i put on the ns radio. its on the corner right bottom of my screen and i cant figure out why it wont open..i really dont want to shut down my computer then restart it...anyone know whats up?

is there anywhere to download the older itunes i just reformated my comp and i dont want the new one

check download.com....and search for itunes6 thats probably your best bet

press ctrl+alt+delete and go to processes, find itunes and select end process. That should work.
