I just got a touch today. for some reason my computer thinks that it is a camera so it doesnt open with itunes. i have windows xp and the latest itunes update so my computer is fully capable. the weird thing is when i plug the touch into the computer, it charges but will not open with itunes. i'm semi new to itunes but pretty tech savvy so its kinda frustrating. i've posted my problems on a mac forum but no one seems to know. any tips are appreciating and +karma for some good advice. thanks.

BTW- i've tried using different USB ports, i've restarted my ipod multiple times, etc, basically everything that apple.com will tell you and nothings worked

thanksssssssssssssssssssssss

word, shuffles pwn.

But to help ya out, goto www.apple.com and download the right driver for your ipod cus your usb is not picking up on it.

as you've probably already realized, its a driver finding problem, and basically its not finding the drive that your ipod is connected to

you can usually do a driver search, or find hidden drives through your setting, and how do you know it thinks its a camera, is something else happening...what?

well when i plug it into the usb port, it opens up that little screen where you choose the program you want to use. on the top (ie-where it says Newschoolers.com - skiing's online community) it says "Apple iPod" but below that it says "camera connected"......thanks for your and enlighter's help

agreed. Mine has proven to be super durable. If only I dont get one stolen each year..

First shuffle: Stolen on french subway by gypsy pickpocketer
Second Shuffle: Got washed in the laundry
Third Shuffle: Got stolen by french hash dealer in my hotel room in france
fourth shuffle: Stolen by a kid with a reading dissability who rummaged through my bag in gym and never got caught for it. Bastard.
fifth shuffle: I hold it always and love it dearly!

I seem to be challenged when it comes to holding on to them. Ay.

Yeah no kidding. My dad had his laptop stolen out of their hotel room when my parents went to france on a church trip. We never got the damn thing back, and it had about 2000 family pictures from vacations and growing up. My mom cried.
