itunes question

my itunes and ipod are both out of sync and i have to reinstall itunes and ive tried just repairing it but it doesnt help, i was wondering if you remove itunes from your computer does it erase all the songs also or will they come back when i reinstall it

I have all mine saved in different files in addition to iTunes. Just make sure to copy all your files once into a completely different folder and then you should be fine.

i delete itunes sometimes when its fucked up, it doesnt delete your songs

If you're on winbloze try going to My Music\iTunes. My Music is in My Documents. That's the default location for itunes to store files.
