Itunes question

Alright so the other day all my songs got erased off of my ipod and when I plug it into my computer itunes doesn't connect for some reason. Nothing happens, so my question is what is another program that I could try that will put songs onto my ipod besides itunes.(I tried searching and couldnt find anything)

winamp won't put the songs back onto my ipod though, I know theres like imitation itunes out there I just don't know what any of them are called.

after you download winamp you have to download the ipod plugin which you can find on their site. this takes about 2 minutes

Clearly your iPod needs to be serviced if all the songs got erased and is no longer detected.

Other software won't help if your computer isn't picking it up.

for the winamp how do I get the songs to my ipod, does winamp automaticly detect the ipod or what?
