You can listen, but not copy it over to your own thang. It's fucking sweet, i just noticed it when boarding school started like a week ago.

yea uvm has this thing for students when ever their comps have itunes open you can view their music listen to it and download it from them.

yeah if a lot of ppl are on your network you can look at their lists and if you download mytunes redux you can download their songs to your list. it's glorious.

 
if you get ipod agent, and a serial number/name, you can copy your friends music from their ipod onto your computer. kinda related so i thought i might share. i have my brothers whole library now on mine.

Yes, we all know you can view and listen to other people's libraries.

If you want to download their shit, get myTunes redux. Just google it and download it. What it essentially does, since you are on the same network, is upload their files onto your computer while still remaining in the network. What is nice about this is, you get hundreds of thousands of songs at your disposal, and also your SCHOOL CANNOT DETECT THE FILE TRANSFER, unlike limewire and all those other shitty things =)

the only way they could tell is if you like, flood your port, which means downloading pretty much 1,000 songs a day.

mytunes and ourtunes are the same thing but mytunes is a better program.....on both of them you cannot take music that people ahve payed for.

 
i bet that over half of the people download music illegally, so its not like most of them payed for it
