Im on a pc with vista using itunes 7 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit the artist name. When I select a single song and choose get info and go to the info tab, everything is grayed out and I can't edit it. When I select multiple songs and choose get info, I can enter a new artist name, but when I hit ok it doesn't change anything. II know I could do it when I was on my last computer, but can't now. Any help?
 
that happens to me too

theres nothin you can do cuz its usually a protected file or a "read only" file.

you can burn whatever songs to a cd and then re-import them if you really care that much about changing the artist/song name, but id just stick it in my ipod and go ski....
