Itunes deleted my library

So itunes deleted my library and my saved library file for some reason. Does anyone know if you can load the music thats on your ipod back onto itunes and how? thanks

i thought that that happend to me about a week ago but i just restarted itunes and it all came back. i was so relieved. id try just restarting your computer... but what did you do different to it to make all your songs get deleted?
