i think you're being an oversensitive bitch. apple made the ipod and itunes. i'm assuming that they'd make the ipod compatible only with itunes to keep customers using only their services and products. if anyone would know it's nomensteven. pardon me for giving my input.

yea bro my friend showed me this program that has a much better sound then itunes, for some reason itunes almost like distorts the music you dont buy from itunes, so ill post the program he has soon as i figure out what it was again.
Itunes all apple software blows. They are all resource hogs and they do their absolute best to take over your computer. Get the latest winamp from Winamp.com . It is the best mp3 player out there and they have integrated it with ipods and other mp3 players. It even allows you to rip from different ipods so if you have someone else's ipod plugged in you can borrow their tunes with ease.

yea i definitely dont know much about music distortion or much about itunes itself, so i wasnt surprised i was wrong, its definitely then what i download my music from

try winamp, it should work for that. itunes is a resource hog, right around the time I bought my Zune iTunes would constantly slow my computer and then the songs would start skipping so it's a good thing I was ready to switch over to the Zune software anyway.

I hate iTunes almost as much as I hate my life. Why the fuck can't version 7.something automatically update your library from your music folder? What about a sort by ! option? What about not running like shit on PCs? I mean, I know nothing about programming but I'm pretty sure I could write a piece of software that plays MP3's and puts music onto an ipod that doesn't require 700+ Mb of ram just to run like shit.
