The arena is full of corporate idiots, but to say that Toronto has no true fans? Toronto has one of the largest fan bases in the NHL. How do you think it would still be feasible to put another team in Hamilton? Even with another team right beside, both teams would have no trouble selling out. It's not just the arena sales either. Toronto's TV viewings are through the roof. Why? Because even though people can't go to the game ($), they still watch it at home. This generates money through advertising, putting the Leafs in the top spot as far as money's concerned. As such, there may be tons of corporate idiots who ruin the game atmosphere, but our fans are just as good (if not better) than the rest.
