There is all this shit about how the slopestyle should have been moved back, but like I've been saying all along, x-games is all about selling to the mass population. Why do you think there is moto-x in the winter? That doesn't even make sense. They just do it because to the mainstream, moto-x is waaaay cooler. Actually to the mainstream, if it doesn't have a motor it's stupid. This is just the beginning of the x-games phasing skiing out, and adding in more moto-x, because that sells better. Wake up, the X-games have always been , marketing driven, not actually about our sport.
 
I have to say this was honestly one of the most disappointing things I have seen in a while. After seeing the course set up during the snowboard contests on Sat. I was looking forward to a huge contest w/ the skiers on Sunday. To change this to a "Best Trick" format was a joke. If the course is in such poor shape and can not be used because it is too slow, postpone the event as they did with the Moto X that was supposed to take place on Sat. and was postponed until Sunday because of weather. It is a real shame that the biggest competiition for slopestyle got thrown to the side like this. I guess we will have to wait until next year and hope the weather plays along...if this is even still an event.
 
i wonder why noone hit that gap to rail if it was a best trick comp.

and i dont care if skiing is in the x games because all they care about is money. they arent helping our sport in any way exept exposure
 
haha, can u imagine Thovex doing like a 360 switch up OVER the camera guys standing inside the X box? lol to a daffy out or some crazy tony hawk style trick out. haha
