The power is out in Tahoe City, but the good news is it's snowing and doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon.

and by the way, BIG props go to Boreal for kicking so much ass with the features up and the maintenance of them! I've never seen a park crew so on top things in the early season.

...and it's still snowing!

oh shit, im coming home to a cold house,, where in TC is the outage? near lake forest? shit! damn i should leave davis now.... or the highway is gonna get shutdown.. whats Breal lookin liek CJ ? highway wise?
 
snowing lightly at boreal right now. I have not head any thing about the roads. We have a yellow dell heading right for us though, so its gonna get nasty. It will be interesting if boreal says open till 9.
 
avoid hy 80 at all costs right now. took me an hour to go from truckee to boreal, and I took a short cut.
 
alpine's already claiming 12" at the base and 18" and the summit, and NOAA claims snow through today, tonight, and part of tomorrow!!

every morning, i wake up and check the mountain web cams just to see where things are at... yeah, i have nothing better to do.
 
i need my skis mounted... anyone anyone? i want to go to Breal this afternoon but i dont have a park ski... unless i get a hook up..
 
Urban? Thursday? what time and where?

I wish I was skiing...by the way anyone have any alpine trekkers or touring bindings they want to get ride of?
