OK....

so as many have said before me i have a delema..(spelt wrong)

i am 6'1'' 170ish pounds...and ski in the east cost...been skiing for long time...like to ski all"mountain" and mainly park...(75%park, 25% everything else)

i can either get the 06-07 vokl karmas 185 for 799.99 with binder...(mojo 15)

OR

the 05-06 scratch fs 181 with scratch pro binder for around 500.00

I am exactly 183 cm tall...i like the idea of a having a ski bigger than me...so i am leaning towards the karmas....is there anything i should think of that i missed about this?? what do you peeps think i should do??STANKS.

dont know...i am leaning towards teh karmas still...a DOPE binding...and an amazing ski...

better than a scratch pro binding which my bro broke his ankle using...

plus i COULD swap em up for my old skis bindings and just give them the switch...i have another pair of rossi pro comp 120s...i want a binding for both pairs thats why i need another binding...we plan on doing a few urban drops this season and im not gonna use my ones..ill use my old chronics.

i was jus checking out the karmas yesterday.. since u ski 75% park i would recommend the scratchs because karmas r really stiff and if u land switch they would turn too easy... at least thats wht the dude said

Yeah, Karma's arent really made for park... still, they are amazing skis, and you definently could learn to do park on them. They have huge tails, and yes, are very very stiff. But hey, you would be the only person rocking them in the park, while everyone else has scratches.

i dont understand AT ALL...how everyone says that the karmas arent much of a park ski??? the team prefers the karma and uses them in the park as their PARK ski...the team that one to masters using them one with them...and all love them in the park...i dont get it..

When it comes to bindings, its knees you wanna be more worried about not ankles. I find breaking your ankles in ski boots(EXCEPT TANNERS CRASH) is ridiculous, you're wearing a damn ski boot its practicly a cast.

i would personally get the scratches, going from a 167 chronic to a 185 karma is gonna be a big adjustment.

plus you dont really do enough all mountain to need a ski like volkls. a 180 scratch would be sick in the park and stable enough for when you do decide to leave the park.

plus $799 is redonkulous

yeh thats my thoughts...especially the dough....i dont want a fucking edge to explode then find myself without a ski...and without 800.00$$$

Dude, I dunno about all that noise, but my buddy rocks last years 177 Karma and he LOVES his skis, they go everywhere, do anything, and he said once you break them in and learn to use them, they have mad pop, just a matter or loading them up properly, plus them are completely bombproof, the Scratch FS can't really even be compared to the Karma...Volkl just outclasses Rossignol. I'd say get the Karmas, they will hold up forever.

yeh i just found out... its 600.00 plus tax for the rossi and a axium 200 binder

659.00 plus tx for the scratch 120 composite....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

that doesnt matter..you can stilll have enough pull on your ankle for it to brake...

and UPDATE...

i am leanign towards the karmas even more now since the price is going to be only a 165.00$$ difference between the two...

kinda heavy?? are you calling me fat???lol...i play alot of sports./..(soccer/rugby) so i am by no means "fat" or even over weight...this reminds me or flipping into sw_steeze's pool..and nomensteven saying "you have never seen meat hucked like this" in response to my bio7's...hahahah,....

but i am PUMPED on the karmas...

Yo , get the ski you want, if you feel their the same or ones better get it.

You seem to be defending it the first ski so get it.

i have axiums scratch 200 on my scratch pros....ive only had 1 problem with the forward pressure....but its fine now.

and i have decided...
