It's officially the start of the NorthWest Tease-on.

The season before winter but after fall when the snow falls, melts, falls, melts, rains, rains, falls, falls, melts, mests some more, rains, snows... And without Timberline open and a small snow pack toward Camp Muir, this is going to be a depressing wait.

El Nino can suck it.

What are you talking about? I fully expect to have a 50" base by Halloween. 40" at the least, if you think there will be less than that you are just plain stupid~

Seriously, I hate this time of year. I always get it in my head that by dec. first the ski areas will be open and its always like 2-3 weeks after that. Summer flies by and then time just comes to a stand still. ahhhh!

This week is really good. But thats the problem. It starts to dump early in the northwest, but then as soon as we all get excited, it melts. Its not even November and we are getting excited about a possible early open. Then next week will call for 62 and rain.

Time to start the sacrificial bonfires. Something about the combo of PBR, whiskey, and burning rearentry boots always guarantees a good season.

lay off on the n00bs, there will just be less people up there when we're skiing pow on Halloween.

Oh, and 50 inches. I was thinking about 6 ft. and anyone who thinks there will be less is an idiot.

I don't know how you get away with posting the hilarious stuff you post. Although you've probably been banned dozens of times. Maybe hundreds.

are you serious dude? who are you? where in washington have you ever skiied before halloween? we barely ski before thanksgiving. ive lived in this state all my life, sadly havent even skied in other states (besieds canada & oregon) so i know my shit. a WA ski area only needs a 35-40" base to open and thats never gonna happen until november.

before you start attacking you better know what your talking about...NEWB

Sorry I couldnt get back to you earlier. I was too deep lapping waist deep pow. I mean have you even looked at the webcams lately? Shit is totally covered in white. I would say there is at least 35" on the ground already and we are going to get a foot tonight. Are you maybe measuring the base from your backyard?

Fucking kids I swear...~

Careful, or you might find one of these in you inbox:
Date Sent: Oct 29 2009 18:20:14 - (read)enick --> DangerToesu have no right to talk shit kid..i will fucking kill you

im not gonna argue with you kids over the internet. so here are some facts so we can end the nonsense...

1.) no mountain has 35'' right now...are you RETARTED?

2.) hopefully we'll be skiing by thanksgiving

4.) i am a better skier than both of you shit-talkers ever will be...hands down

3.) i could kill DangerToes, not get caught, and no one would miss him

so pop a THIZZLE and choke on somethin

Look son, you are welcome to argue with me in real life any time. Heres the facts

1) DO YOU HAVE FUCKING EYE CANCER? THERE IS AT LEAST 50 INCHES OF SNOW UP THERE BY NOW

2) Stevens Pass opens tomorrow, like I said, by halloween. Heres the fucking email since you just cannot face the truth.

Today NOAA issued a winter storm warning. I get so excited, thinking the teason might be over. I know better, but I can't help it. Lets kill some cats.
