Its not "dirty" anymore... its "messi"

they do that to give their teammates a break from what would otherwise be 90 minutes of running at full speed back and forth. get learned.

thats bs. if they cant run around for 90 minutes then they shouldnt be playing at top level.
watched a guy from chelsea get stretcherd off because he broke his jaw. was it really nessesary for the stretcher. plus the whole ordeal took about 15 minutes

you know how much ground you cover at a professional level of soccer? your fitness has to be higher than basically any sport there is out there. maybe besides track. regardless. stretchers are safety precautions.. in football you use god damn golf carts.. after running for as much as you do in soccer, taking a hit to your head could knock you out because of how tired you are. they use the stretcher because they might pass out... & no. it took literally a minute and a half.. i saw the game

personly think this should be their uniform

soccer is straight back and forth running. football is run, hit stand around and again, and then rest for 5:00 + minutes. baseball is stand a swing a bat, run max 360 feet and then rest for a mad long time. you try and go play a professional soccer game, doubt you'd last.

i dont play american footbal. i play rugby league. its alot different to american footbal and even rugby union. alot more running is involved especially the position i play

This. It's funny how people try and talk shit about soccer when you need to be fitter then any other sport in the world.

Distance Covered Per GamePosted by Ilan Liebner An interesting article about distance covered per game in the EPL from 2006.

In 2005/06, the average EPL midfielder ran 11.49 kilometres per game. The average EPL centre-back covered 9.96 kilometres per game.

From the article, "the average distance covered by players in matches has changed little [between 2002 and 2006] but the amount done at top speed has almost doubled. What ProZone class as “high-intensity activities” — runs made by players at three-quarters of sprint pace or faster — have increased from 627 per team per match in 2002-03 to 1,209 in 2005-06, and the ground covered by players while sprinting has increased by 40% over four years. A sprint is classed as a run made at quicker than seven metres per second, equivalent to running 100m in a sharp 14 seconds."

Suck my nuts.

basically the attitude every soccer player has ever given me. such an elitist crowd, TGIlifestyle definately supports that statement. get off your high horses.

yet youve proven my point right there. that requires high fitness & really good muscle endurance. this increase in speed/ direction/ change of pace/ tackles/ distance you cover/ full speed burst.. drains your body. if you ever watch a game.. pay attention to the midfielders. at no point in time will you see one standing in one spot. on defense you have to pressure the ball every time the ball is played near you. not only is there the offense aspect that makes you run a lot, theres also defense. someone who doesnt play soccer wouldnt understand that. dumb ass trick ass muhfuckaaa

LIONELLLL
this is a great change.. i have been saying that for months throughout the soccer season and i have come to enjoy it very much so

not every guy is sprinting at full speed for 90 mins. yes you never see a guy not moving,, but soccer i around baseball for entertainment value

oh FUCK THE SOUNDERS GO PORTLAND

to be totally honest, i could give no shits about any sport. i just wanted to get a rise out of OP, so i guess you could say i was trollin. truth be told i played soccer all through high school, played varsity for 2 years as right mid. i know the work that goes into playing this sport and how it works. it just the elitist pricks*cough*OP*cough* that shit on every other sport that really grind my gears. and the kid who took the time and effort to lower everyone's e-karma because they disagreed that soccer was the best sport in the world.

no im just tired of people trying to say soccer is a pussy sport when in fact its one of the hardest if not the hardest sport to be good at. 95% of sports use their hands, in which you have greater control where in soccer you use your feet... making it much more difficult to get better at. either way.. i hate baseball(off topic...kinda). but still
