Its not dead...

I can understand and appreciate your point.

Pretty sure Blackbox wasn't that succesful until they pitched Skate to EA. the reason it got done fast (you're right) was they had many many teams working oni it.

My point was if the creators of Jib Life wanted to they could take their progress to a larger platform like Blackbox did and because i'm sure they have made a bit of progress to work off of, have a game within a couple years

I didn't donate money to the game but my older brother stole money from me to buy a t-shirt...... a long time ago.

blackbox has been around since 1983 and produced all of the need for speed games since 2001 along with many other titles.

my brother does 3d rendering, not for video games, mostly for movies. that "picture" would have taken him about an hour. maybe a little more.

its never coming out. ever.

Your pathetic. Quit talking and ask your brother to create and design the mesh, texture it completly and animate it based on a a skier rotating. I can guarantee you will come back here saying he did not make it in the timeline you told us. Mark my words, I'll PM you when the game come out.

I agree with most of what you said, but skiing is not advanced physics... its all stuff you would learn in your high school physics class. It doesn't take a genius to figure out friction, projectile motion, and rotational motion.
Bottom line is that yeah the game isn't out yet, but don't hate just because it's taking a long time. If it ever is finished, it will be better than we have now, so what do we have to lose?

I have faith- this reminds me of a certain car thread on bimmerforums- it was 52 pages of people hating on Mike Borroughs engine swap, saying it will never happen- then he posted it up complete and fucking amazing and as a big fuck you wont tell anyone how he did it
Id rather have the game take forever and be amazing than have it come out sooner and be shitty.

We'll see but they've been hyping up this game for WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to long.

I heard from inside people that EA is developing a ski game for consoles....

that would be sick, skiing gettign noticed, newschool skiing is getting way more poular where i live. some of the snowbaord shops now sell skis, like line, armada and lib-tech, and another snowboard shop is now a salomon dealer for skis. and ive been talking to the guys who own those shops and they are getting way more ski stuff casue its a big seller apperently. yay
