It's not a sale if you jack the price up just so you can offer the same price as before but say "look how much you save on Cyber Monday." Yet everywhere i looked today (which wasn't much, I don't have much shopping to do) was guilty of this. Fuck cyber monday.

Specific Example: Colorado Ski Shop changed the price for Pivot 14's from $299 to $375 just so that they could mark them down $76 for cyber monday. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if I didn't get an email from them about their cyber monday deals.

I heard marsland was there.

But really I worked for shopko this summer, and they are notorious for constant sales are actual the regular price, they just take the "Normal Price" elevate the hell out of it and then discount it to a "sales price" so more people are attracted to buy the item since its "on sale" and "such a good buy"

WARNING COOL STORY INCOMING

When I was in 4th grade we did a project in class where we had a store and were selling things. I can't remember what we were selling or how it all worked but I do remember my tactics.

I marked everything that I had up, and everything that I purchased, then marked it down but kept the price of everything above what it was worth. I was banking until some girl got butthurt and was all "TEACHER TEACHER THAT's NOT FAIR, I'm GOING TO CRY CAUSE ITS NOT FAIR" and the whole thing got shut down.

I agree with you though. For every person like you that notices, there are a ton who think OMG ITS LIEK ON SALE AND STUFF!!!!!
