IT'S HERE! Winter at Blue Mountain

yeahhh so sik going ther sat or sunday, i think instead of that stupid little shit park on the south side thye should make yahoo into a terrain park again like it was 5 years ago that run was made ofr that

Looks like I'll be up there again tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me what rails/boxes are setup in the mini-park? It kind of sucks that its all going to be hiking access only.

Thanks man!

I am feeling pretty sick right now but I think I am going to get some rest and try to make it up tomorrow.

if all goes to plan, i will be there tomorrow. for my birthday.

ill be driving up there with an expired license, so please don't question my appreciation of skiing. thanks!

blue closed down their hike park... bullshit (unless thier going bigger and better)

goto loouis.. it'lll rock your world

from what i understand they have closed it so that they can start building badlands... i will see if i can get an update for you...

thanks! i hate exams, im not skiing for another 9 days. and that starts with a 2 day instructor course i got talked into.

i didn't make it up on the 11th, but it looks like they got a lot of rain....some of the runs that were open 2 days ago are closed now... is this true?

i think they closed some runs because its midweek and not as busy, it would seem like a blue mnt sort of thing to do not having to have extra staff working. the badlands chair is suppose to be running this weekend though, with a railline top to bottom(so ive heard atleast).

well i will be there sunday for sure as apparently we are suppose to get a 20cm+ storm on sunday, and i'd think that by this time it would be blue's priority to open at LEAST a rail line cus junkyard over at mslm has like 8 rails and 2 jumps open arrdy i think so blue should step up ther game, o and badlands is bigger this year so when it finally opens its gonna be siiik i hope thye do something so that u can mix in rails with jumps like a rail+jump line or something

i dobut that unless they worked all night last night. i was there yesterday from 9-4 and snow was still being made in the badlands with nothing set-up except for that hike access park at the bottom, but even that was closed.

We were there tonight, and they have the new DFD rail setup with a big-ass takeoff, and then 2 20 foot boxes going up-gap-down.

Those are set up for the frozen rail jam, at the bottom of smart alec... you're not aloud to ride them.

all they had in terms of badlands was the tiny walk jib park, it was the same as the one last weekend. But park staff said that they are going to start cutting the pipe on monday and build jumps throught out the week and have the badlands running by next weekend with a bunch of shit

BLEU WAS EPIC TODAY!!!! (sunday) so much snow fell, it was amazing except visibility was like 0. AND driving home back to toronto was also very fun with 320hp and awd, a crazy dog almost jumped on the road in front of car and most highways were unplowed, so much fun.

was up today, theyre starting to build the main decks and are starting to cut the main pipe, havent heard when the park is set to be up and running though, hopefully soon.

they cut the pipe yesterday and are starting to build features this afternoon and overnight.

The plan is to open Badlands tomorrow with the superpipe, a slopestyle course and the badlands chair running.

park update coming soon.

I was there friday night

I didn't go in badlands cuz I was with my girl on the green runs but yeah it looked sick from the chair

its time to show blue a little bit of love...

rails are decent for time of year and recent weather conditions... however jumps are KEWL!!

20ft jump (poppy - excellent for rodeos and backies) into a 45ft-55ft jump

FUN!
